6. Beans – yes beans!
Forget that we said beans can let you accumulate gas inside your GIT, it is actually a good source of fibre. If you are scared of beans making you gas, you can read our article that explained how you can cook beans and not get gas or fart afterwards. One cup of cooked kidney beans for example has 19.4 g of fibre in it.
Other types of beans that have good amount of fibre include, black beans, navy beans and great northern.
Remember that we also said that foods alone don’t cause constipation, so, making them go away requires exercise and drinking much water too. Exercises keep your bowels moving and aid digestion.
7. Apples
One medium-sized apple contains about 3.3 grammes of fiber and a large one could contain up to 4.5 g of fibre. You can consume this at the end of your meals and they will contribute to that meal that is already high in fiber. Eat this and exercise about 20 minutes, three days a week, and build up to at least 30 minutes on most days of the week and you should be fine.
It is recommended that you get in touch with your doctor who will recommend the type of exercises that are good for you. It is not a healthy practice to choose exercises for yourself when you want to use it to get rid of, for example, constipation.
