4. Storage of left over of foods
Store your food leftovers in the refrigerator or freezer. Evaporated liquid milk in cans for example, should be stored under cold conditions, leftover cut yams have ways of storing them too, so also is every other food that we know.
The summary of all these is that you should watch the type of food materials you buy — buy the high grade ones and avoid those that are already losing quality, rotten damaged or spoilt. Also, you have to find out the proper way to store these foods, cook them properly and store the leftovers in refrigerator and freezers.
Of course, we cannot cover all types of foods in this article but we believe that the few examples here should have given you ideas on what to look out for in order to prevent food poisoning.
In a matter of days, we shall publish an article on how to avoid food poisoning when we eat outside at eateries because that could be more risky.
