I can bet with all I have got that many popular artists, CEO of companies and many other individuals would wish they can order for this combination anywhere in Nigeria. Many of them, for obvious reasons, do not want to park their cars to buy from the road side sellers while others appear to care less. When the sweet corn is in season, for my dad, nothing else tastes better.
As a septogenarian, he walks kilometers every evening to get roasted corn plus coconut. There are many other people like him who, if not for their societal status would opt for it on daily basis when corn is in season.
As we always say, make sure that that the roasted corn is not burnt and charred. They have their bad health effect. Just make sure they are roasted enough to cook these foods to make them edible.
I would prefer roasted plantain with fish and fried stew/sauce very delucious . I enjoyed it while I was still in yenagoa. Way beta than roasted plantain and groundnut.
Hi hi,well it will be nice to see many of our street food included on the menu of our top restaurant.just to bring to ur notice there is a boli and groundnut joint here on d island,but it doesn’t taste as fab as the woman that sells on the street…I guess datz why dey are called street food anyway Dere is dis unique flavor d street offers
